I read this book as part of the Christmas version of the Vet vs Newbies challenge at Gotta Have Paranormal Romance with a Kick. This book was one of my three available options and I’m so glad I chose to read it as I have discovered another great series to get addicted to. The book itself is the fourth installment and the only one I have read from both the series and this author. The story works perfectly as a standalone even though is sequel in an ongoing series. The characters are intriguing, the world itself is complex enough that sucks you in. I really enjoyed the story and I want as well as the romance between the main characters. You fall in love with Reseph as the plot develops and you get to feel the anguish that Jillian experiences in her journey. I loved the book; I will definitively be looking to get my hands of the rest of the books. After all, who wouldn’t be interested in the tale of the Four Horseman of the Apocalypse?
